Premature infants are commonly caused cerebral palsy, the number of infants at risk for significant developmental dysfunction is increasing as medical science has become more able to keep younger, smaller, and sicker infants alive. Cerebral palsy infants are high risk when factors occur before, during or after birth with maternity history problems, developmental, learning or emotional problems

The motor problems at cerebral palsy infants are delayed motor milestones, the developments of the child follows the next steps ; involuntary to voluntary, flexion to extension, cranial to caudal, central to caudal, proximal to distal, horizontal to vertical, ulnar to radial. Motor development is often presented as a schema of motor milestone.

The early signs about motor development, posture, muscle tone, diverse and reflexes maturity  in newborns to 12 month is very important to know developing cerebral palsy infants. Behaviour of the newborn baby and infants is characterized by the use of primitive patterns, with the increase of maturity of the brain these primitive patterns are inhibited. The inhibition of primitive reflexes makes voluntary movement possible.
